No injuries were reported in an accident involving a parked vehicle investigated Friday morning by the Trenton Police Department.
According to Officer Tyler Anderson’s accident report, the mishap occurred when a sport utility vehicle driven by Michael E. Waterman of Trenton was southbound on Main Street with a partially flat tire. Waterman said he was trying to compensate for the tire, which was on the right side of the vehicle, and drove into a Coca-Cola Bottling Company truck that was parked on the east side of the road. The Coca-Cola employee was out of the vehicle at the time of the mishap.
Waterman, 27, was ticketed for careless and imprudent driving by striking a parked vehicle.
