The Tri-County R-7 Board of Education met in special session Tuesday, closing out the 2014-2015 fiscal year and approving the 2015-2016 budget.
According to information provided by Supt. David Probasco, the board voted to transfer funds to reflect actual revenues of $2,342,541.43 and actual expenditures of $2,322,120.31, leaving a surplus of $20,421.12 for the year. The 2015-2016 fiscal year budget shows a surplus of $37,457.
In other business, the board accepted a bid from Westbrook and Company to perform the fiscal audit and approved the purchase of materials for improvements to the high school bathrooms. A report was given on the technology updates. Board members held an executive session to discuss personnel, with no announcement made.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for July 9.
