Princeton Chamber Meets

Jun 30, 2015 | Headline News

The Princeton Chamber of Commerce met on June 17, discussing a number of upcoming activities.
Kelly Bertrand called the meeting to order and discussed the Big Bam Bicycle Ride, which was held last week. There was a discussion concerning the possibility of the chamber buying a lot, which will not happen because of a lack of money. It was decided to pay a local business for use of their postage for letters for the tractor cruise as well as any more postage needed for Calamity Jane Day. Judy Woodward and Donna Herdrich will work on the program for the scouts with Mike Robinson and Trisha Rudminat.
Plans were finalized for the July 4 celebration. The all-school reunion will begin at 4 p.m. in the Stacy Center gym and the Stacy Center will be serving supper at 6 p.m. The chamber will give free watermelon and present entertainment of music and dance beginning at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin at dusk on the football field. Musical entertainment is supported by the Princeton Band Tax and the fireworks are supported through the recreation tax.
