Madyson Williams Attend Academy

Madyson Williams of the Grundy R-5 FFA Chapter attended the fourth annual Hymax Academy on June 19-21. The event was sponsored by the Missouri FFA Association and held at Camp Rising Sun, located within the Lake of the Ozarks State Park. The institute provided extensive leadership training for over 90 high school students who are members of FFA across Missouri every year. The high school students were selected out of many applicants to attend this specialized academy. They were trained by Missouri State FFA Officers as well as past MO State FFA officers, agricultural educators and FFA state staff. Students learned how to advocate for agriculture, overcome obstacles and develop their communication and personal skills.
