The Trenton City Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. on Monday at city hall.
Items on the announced agenda include an ordinance amending the city code regarding required installation of certain types of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in rental units, an ordinance approving a quit claim deed to convey property purchased from the city by Tommy and Joy Wright, approval of 2014-15 budget adjustments, hiring a new police officer and appointment of members to the historic preservation committee. An executive session for real estate is also planned.
