Photo Courtesy of North Central Missouri College The North Central Missouri College Allied Health Department recently took level I Maryville nursing students to Camp Quality (for kids with cancer) in Stewartsville. Level I nursing students and faculty volunteered at the camp in June. They helped children diagnosed with cancer by making sure each camper had the most enjoyable and safe experience possible. Volunteering included helping children in outdoor activities, projects, various tasks and lots of laughs. The students and staff had a great time volunteering. One student said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service to others” on the back of their t-shirts.
