Hazel Fox, an 88-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Saturday afternoon, June 13, 2015 at Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today (Monday, June 15, 2015) at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton, with Rev. Steve Bramblett officiating. Burial was in Martin Cemetery north of Trenton.
Mrs. Fox was born on Aug. 25, 1926 in Tindall, the daughter of Isaac and Alta Mae Pauley Leeper. She attended Tindall schools and graduated from Trenton High School. She was employed by Southwestern Bell as an operator for 16 years.
She was a member of Tindall Christian Church in Tindall.
She was married in Tindall on June 3, 1967 to Owen Dale Fox, who preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 2009.
Her survivors include one daughter, Linda Borkowski and her husband, Chad of Webster City, IA; two grandsons, Brian Borkowski and Matthew Borkowski both of Webster City; one brother, Johnny Leeper of Trenton; and two sisters-in-law, Garnett Leeper and Marilyn Whitacre, both of Trenton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Helen Griffin; and six brothers, Truman Leeper, Jim Leeper, Carl Leeper, Melvin Leeper, Charles Leeper and Bill Leeper.
