Linda Beasley, a 64-year-old resident of Adrian, died on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 after a year of battling cancer.
The body was cremated.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Mullinax Funeral Home in Butler, where a visitation will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m., prior to the service.
Mrs. Beasley was born on Dec. 30, 1950 in Kansas City, the daughter of Ralph and Mary Gorman. She was married to Mike Beasley on Sept. 27, 1970 at the Galt Methodist Church, where she was a former member.
She held several positions in the Harrisonville and Adrian areas. She was active in Boy Scout Troop 256 in Freeman and enjoyed sewing, crafting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Mike of Adrian; two sons, Jason (Leah) Beasley of Ohio and Jared (Laurey) Beasley of Kansas; her mother, Mary Gorman of Galt; three grandchildren, Hanna, Eli and Nora Beasley; a sister, Martha (Curtis) Provance of Trenton; a niece, Catie (Ryan) Shippen of Trenton; and several aunts, uncles and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice.
