Bike Rodeo Held
Despite the cool weather, several youth took part in Saturday’s Youth Bike Rodeo, held in the Trenton High School circle drive and parking lot. The Trenton High School Key Club teamed up with the Grundy County Health Department, Trenton Kiwanis Club, the Trenton Middle School FCCLA, the Trenton FFA and the Trenton Police Department to promote bicycle safety. The health department provided new bicycle helmets to participants, who also took part in several safety activities, including a stop and start session. There was also a car seat safety check held as well as a coloring area. Each child also received a bag of goodies, including a ticket for free cotton candy.
