Pool To Open On Saturday

The Trenton Family Aquatic Center will open for the 2015 season on Saturday, May 23.
The pool will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. daily. Daily admission prices are free for babies age 0 to 23 months; $5 for those age 2 to 54; $2.50 for those age 55 and over; and $1 for non-swimmers (those who are accompanying a child but are not swimming). Season passes are also available for purchase at a cost of $160 for families (maximum of six persons, at least one adult); $60 for a single pass; $20 for a senior pass; and $20 for a lap pass.
The pool may also be reserved for private parties throughout the season (with the exception of Tuesdays and Thursdays) during the hours of 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $225.

The pool has also announced the dates and time for Red Cross Swimming Lessons as well as Water Babies and Preschool lessons.
There will be two sessions of regular swimming lessons – the first from June 15 to 26 and the second from July 13-24. Classs will be held on Monday through Thursday, with Friday being a weather make-up day, if needed. The Level 1 class will be a one-week course and be given at a cost of $20. Levels 2-6 will last for two weeks at a cost of $25. Times for each level include Level 5/6, 8 to 8:45 a.m.; Level 3/4, 9 to 9:45 a.m.; Level 2, 10 to 10:45 a.m.; and Level 1, 11 a.m. to noon.
The Water Babies and Preschool lessons will be held the weeks of June 30-July 23 on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Water babies will take place from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. while the preschoolers (ages 2 to 6) will have their lessons from 7 to 7:30 p.m. The cost for both classes is $30 per participant. Lessons are being taught by Truman Elbert and Gannon Albrecht, who are both Red Cross WSI certified.
