The Grundy County Nursing Home District Board of Directors approved insurance plans and reviewed the budget during a special meeting this morning.
According to information provided by Sunnyview Nursing Home and Apartments Administrator Donita Youtsey, board members approved the 2015-2016 employee health insurance plan with a change in provider to Blue Cross/ Blue Shield. The cost of the insurance for each employee will increase to $87 a month per employee. Previously health insurance had been provided at no cost to the employee. The board also reviewed and discussed the 2015-2016 fiscal year budget.
The board will next meet at 5 p.m. on on Monday, May 18 in the conference room of the administrator’s office of the nursing home.
