Commission Planning To See Hog Operation

The Grundy County Commission will meet in regular session Tuesday at the courthouse.
Items on the announced agenda include a meeting with Emergency Management Director Glen Briggs at 8:30 a.m. to discuss appointments to the Local Emergency Planning Committee; a meeting with Ambulance Director Steve Tracy at 10 a.m.; and a meeting with North Central Missouri College President Dr. Neil Nuttall at 1:30 p.m. to discuss grant administration. The commission will travel to Centralia during the afternoon for an informational tour of hog operations currently under the management of Pipestone Systems, the company that would manage a proposed hog farm in Grundy County.
