5-7 von dollins-3Mason Roy Van Dollins, a five-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the Foster Funeral Chapel in Carrollton with Pete Swearingin officiating. Burial will be in the Carroll Memory Gardens at Carrollton.
Family visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday at the chapel, prior to the service.
Matthew was born on Sept. 4, 2009 in Columbia, the son of Jonathan Terry and Jaime Dawn Nichelson Hughes. He was in kindergarten at Rissler Elementary School in Trenton.
He is survived by his parents, T.J. and Jaime Hughes; his father and step-mother, Jonathan and Amanda Terry; one brother, Matthew Dillon Poindexter; a sister, Marley Dawn Hughes; maternal grandparents, Stella Nichelson and Marvin and Tammy Nichelson; paternal grandfather, Scott Terry; paternal grandmothers, Sherry McCollum and Cissy Hughes; paternal step-grandmother, Melanie Terry; uncles and aunts, Cody and Mikey Odor, Brian Hughes, James Zamarripa, Darren McDowell, Troy Terry, Harley Terry, Sylvia Nichelson, Jamie High, R.W. and Charity Siefkas and Chris and Brittany Terry; and great-uncles, Steve and Bobby Dollins.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Rossanna and Rolanda; a cousin, Saylem; his grandfather, James Dollins; and an aunt, Connie Dollins.
