For a class assignment, the dual credit speech class at Trenton High School had to find a problem in the school and solve it. Students came up with the idea of a water bottle filler for the school since students couldn’t properly fill their bottles. To buy the water bottle filler, the group did a fundraiser, pumping gasoline on consecutive Saturdays at two local convenience stores to raise $406. The school gave the students the rest of the money and provided installation. The students and staff are really enjoying the water bottle filler, which has turned out to be a huge success and will last a long time. Students participating included, from left, Jessi Westcott, Abby Miller, Ally Ockenfels, Karley McCollum, Kail McCarter and Jonathan Lamp.
