Don Tatum, a 90-year-old Trenton resident, died at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Dockery Chapel Church. Pastor Doug Franklin will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake Viking Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 o’clock tonight (Friday, May 1, 2015) at Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mr. Tatum was born on Dec. 25, 1924 in Leon, KS, the son of Thomas Milton and Sarah May Gaskill Tatum. He was married on June 18, 1961 to Gene Neal, who preceded him in death.
Surviving relatives include a son, David Tatum and his wife, Anita of Trenton; a daughter, Brenda Tatum of Kansas City; a sister, Ruth Fouts of Tulsa, OK; three grandsons, Scott Tatum and his wife, Jenna, Thomas Tatum and Travis Tatum; and two great-grandsons, Gavin and Owen.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
