Twenty-five Grundy County 4-H members took part in the annual Contest Day activities on Friday at the first Christian Church fellowship hall. Members participated in a variety of areas, including public speaking, working demonstrations, photography and regular demonstrations.
Allena Allen was chosen to compete at state for public speaking. Advancing to the state fair with their demonstrations were Levi Johnson, Anna Heins, Morgan Foster, Mason Rongey, Kidridge Griffin, Haley Kidd, Logan Foster, Latorrie Johnson and Padyn Gibson. Working demonstrations advancing to the state fair were given by Hannah Bowe, Gracyn Rongey, Rebecca Urich and Robert Urich.
