Fuel Bid Accepted

Apr 22, 2015 | County Commission, Courthouse News

The Grundy County Commission accepted a bid for fuel for county vehicles during its meeting on Tuesday.
The commission agreed to accept a bid from Landes Oil, which is the current fuel provider. The bid was for 5 cents under the pump price and is good at any of the four Landes locations. Landes provides bulk delivery and department heads have indicated they have had good service from Landes in the past. The other bidder was Shell, which offered a price of 5 cents off the pump price when the volume used was 1,000 to 3,999 gallons per month, with no bulk delivery available.
