Area Road Work Planned

Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be busy this week with road projects in Grundy, Mercer and other area counties.
In Grundy County, Route A between NW 60th and NW 70th will be closed on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for culvert replacement. Sign operations will take place throughout the week on Highways 65 and 146 as well as route U and WW. Shoulder work will take place on Highway 146, north of Highway 6. Sweeping and flushing bridges and litter pick-up will take place on Highways 6 and 65.
In Mercer County, crews will do bridge maintenance on Highway 136 at the West Buddy Creek Bridge as well as drainage work on Routes D, P and O. Litter pick-up and sweeping and flushing bridges will be done on Highways 65 and 136.
Daviess County work includes pothole patching on Highways 6 and 69 as well as Interstate 35, drainage work on Highway 13 in the Gallatin city limits, sweeping and flushing bridges on Interstate 35 and litter pick-up on Interstate 35 from Highway 69 to Route H. There will also be drainage work today and Tuesday on Route TT, one-half mile east of Route BB.
In Livingston County, there will be sweeping and flushing on bridges on Highway 36 from Highway 65 to Route C, brush cutting on Highway 65 from Highway 190 to Route K and pothole patching on Route V from Route K to the city limits of Chillicothe. Sweeping and flushing of bridges will take place on Highway 36 from Highway 65 to Highway 139.
