Princeton School Board To Meet

The Princeton R-5 Board of Education will meet in regular session on Monday night in the high school library.
A working board meeting is planned at 5 p.m. with a portion of the meeting to be closed. Items on the open board agenda include an insurance presentation and discussion (staff is encouraged to attend) and setting a special board meeting on April 27 to make a decision.
The second meeting will be at 6 p.m. Items on the announced agenda include announcements, a financial report, determination of new graduation requirements, announcement of the Farr property purchase, submission of a track grant, certification of election results, recognition of outgoing board members, swearing in of new board members, election of officers, appointment of a board secretary and treasurer, staffing discussion, base salary and extra duty stipend discussion, approval of the extra duty group list, surplus property sale, approval of the senior trip itinerary, administrative reports and the CTS letter of intent, contract, evaluation, planning and timeline for the school improvement project. An executive session for personnel and records protected by law is also planned.
