The daunting task of helping northern Missouri’s families remain healthy has always been a very important part of the mission of Green Hills Community Action Agency. The agency’s Women’s Health Services program has been assisting low-income residents of the state for decades by hosting on-site clinics throughout the week and offering many free and/or low-cost services based on a sliding-fee scale.
Green Hills Community Action Agency has announced a new partner in its efforts to offer early detection of breast cancer, reduce the spread of STDs or educate the public on birth control methods. The Walmart community grants program recently awarded a $1,000 grant to CAA for use in the WHS program. The grant comes via the Chillicothe Walmart store.
