Despite the rainy weather, voters in Trenton and Grundy County were getting out to cast their ballots in today’s election. City, county, nursing home and school issues appeared on the ballot. A total of 109 absentee ballots were cast in Grundy County for today’s election. The polls will be open until 7 o’clock tonight. The Trenton Republican-Times website, www.republican-times.com, and Tele-News 11 (cable channel 11) will carry local election results with complete results appearing in Wednesday’s edition of the Republican-Times.
