Leota King, an 82-year-old resident of Ridgeway and formerly of Gilman City, died on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Mosaic Life Center in St. Joseph.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Mitchell Cemetery in Melbourne.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Roberson Funeral Home in Gilman City, where general visitation will begin after 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Mrs. King was born on Jan. 5, 1933 in Urbana, the daughter of William Howard and Viven Stith Francis. She was married in Brimson on March 15, 1945 to Hubert M. King, who preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2011.
Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis (Danny) Claycomb of Ridgeway; a son, Sonny King of Chillicothe; granddaughters, Dallas (Scott) Boswell of Ridgeway and Robin (Matt) Davidson of Bethany; a grandson, Chad King of Allerton, IA; and a sister, Louise Patterson of Jamesport.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jean Francis; and sisters, Ruth “Sugar” Gay and Carol Ellis.
