Rosa Lee Allnutt

Rosa Lee Allnutt, an 84-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Tuesday morning, March 31, 2015 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Funeral services will held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday April 2, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Trenton with Rev. Steve Dennis and Rev. Shawn Allee officiating. Burial will be in Brassfield Cemetery, northwest of Chillicothe.
There is no scheduled family visitation. Open visitation is under way at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Allnutt at 222 Maupin St.
Mrs. Allnutt was born on Oct. 31, 1930 in Hickory, the daughter of Joseph Elmer and Mabel Frances French Parkey. She graduated from Trenton High School in 1948.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and First Baptist Church of Trenton. She was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and also she enjoyed her grandchildren and friends.
She was married on March 20, 1954 in Trenton to Clarence “Bud” Allnutt, who preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Allnutt and wife Sue of Colorado Springs, CO and Tim Allnutt and his wife. Lee Ann of Trenton; four grandchildren, Samantha Lemme and her husband, Darrin of Colorado Springs, Mathew Allnutt and his wife, Melissa of San Diego, CA, Caitlin Allnutt of Kansas City and Ryan Allnutt of Trenton; one great-grandchild, Emily Allnutt of San Diego; one niece, Jeri Ann Davis of California; and one nephew, Leslie Bratton of Independence.
She was preceded in death by her parents; eight sisters, Irene Hunt, Ella Fern McAllister, Hazel Bratton, Leona Dockery, Betty Lou Porter, Beulah Fay Wynne, Virginia Griffin and Mary Caroline Parkey; one brother, Elmer Parkey; and one niece, Nancy Carol Davis.
Memorials are suggested to either te American Cancer Society or First Baptist Church of Trenton. They may be left at the funeral home.
