Graveside services for Jack J. Miller will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Open visitation will begin on Friday morning.
Mr. Miller, an 80-year-old resident of Trenton, died at his home on Tuesday morning, March 31, 2015.
Mr. Miller was born on June 1, 1934 in Trenton, the son of Bill and Doris Arbuckle Miller and he was raised by Shirley Girdner.
He married Frances Ratliff on April 3, 1957 at Crandall United Brethren Church in Trenton. He worked for Muff’s Bakery and owned Miller’s Heating and Cooling. He enjoyed his dogs, mowing the yard, trading cars and riding his motorcycle.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Miller of Trenton; sisters, Twyila Whitney and her husband, Donald of Trenton and Phyllis Pliley and her husband, Jerry of Jamesport; his niece, Lisa Byers and her husband, Scott of Princeton; his nephew, Vince Meighen and his wife, Sondra of Trenton; and many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Shirley McDaniel; and great-nephew, Rayvin Meighen.
Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or The American Heart Association.
