The Laredo and Grundy R-5 fifth and sixth grade basketball teams squared off Monday night with Grundy winning the girls’ game 10-8 and Laredo winning the boys’ game 22-6.
In girls action, Grundy was paced by Abigail Mathews. who had six points. Chandler Lynch, Rebecca Urich, Grace Larson and Haven Burress all had two points each for Laredo. Boys’ action saw Cooper Lewis and Logan Foster score eight points each for Laredo while Peyton Moore and Hayden Sheppard added four and two points respectively. Grundy got four points from Parker Christy.
