Joyce Nadine Scott

Joyce Nadine Scott, an 81-year-old resident of Chillicothe, died on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Indian Hills Retirement Village in Chillicothe.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens at Chillicothe.
A family visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. General visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015.
Mrs. Scott was born on Jan. 11, 1934 in Galt, the daughter of Lester H. and Lydia C. Stout. She was a graduate of Galt High School. After graduation, she attended Chillicothe Business College.
Mrs. Scott was married on Feb. 25, 1961 in Miami, OK to Wilford R. Scott, who preceded her in death on May 2, 1997. She worked as a bookkeeper in Kansas City and Chillicothe for many years. She was a member of the First Christian Church at Chillicothe.
Survivors include two nieces, Mary Whitney and her husband, Dan and Pam Baldwin and her husband, Mike, all of Wichita, KS; two nephews, Rick Parrott and Mike Parrott and his wife, Rita of Wichita; and special friends, Al and Donna Horton and Randy and Lori Horton all of Trenton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one sister, Thelma Parrott.
