The Laredo and Pleasant View fifth and sixth grade basketball teams were in action, facing off against each other on Thursday night. Laredo took both games, winning the girls’ contest 23-17 and the boys’ contest 34-16.
In the girls game, Laredo got 12 points from Grace Larson. Pleasant View, meanwhile, got 11 from Teya Cooksey. The boys contest saw Cooper Lewis score 20 for Laredo and Logan Foster added 10. Pleasant View was paced by Chase Otto, who scored 12 points in the loss.
