The Green Hills Community Action Agency Area Governing Board of Directors met on Tuesday, Feb. 17 in Trenton.
The board heard reports from the Finance Committee regarding the annual agency audit, the Public Housing Authority Committee shared results of an audit as well as results of SEMAP. The Operations and Procurement Committee presented information related to several grants and contracts.
New business was limited to a short discussion of job title changes within the agency’s financial policy and the employee handbook. Information was given on organizational standards and strategic planning. Old business covered the agency’s phone and Internet system issues. The board also heard reports from each department director.
A closed session was held regarding tenant regulations. The board of directors reviewed tenant selection criteria and acknowledged that the CAA follows the local, state, federal and funding source regulations.
The next regular board meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14.
