Students from Brookfield High School won first place in team competition as well as individual contests at the annual Math Exploration Day held at North Central Missouri College in Trenton on Thursday. More than 50 students from Brookfield, Braymer, Grundy R-5, Osborn, Princeton and Stewartsville participated in several activities and contests were conducted by faculty of NCMC’s math and science departments. Earning first place in the team competition was Brookfield Team B, composed of Austin Libeer, T.J. Thudium and Taylor Wallace, while second place was earned by the Grundy R-5 team, which included, in the photo at left, from left, Luis Barriga, Madyson Williams and Yuxin Ji.
