An accident occurred last Wednesday on 11th Street near Cedar Street.
According to Det. Jerry Smith’s report, a tractor-trailer unit driven by Charles Weiher, 53, of Slater, was going the wrong way on 11th Street and went to make a wide right turn onto Cedar Street. As he did so, the right side of his vehicle sideswiped the right rear corner of a parked vehicle occupied by Alan Buckner of Trenton.
There was minor damage to the Buckner vehicle and no apparent damage to the truck Weiher was driving and no injuries were reported.
Weiher was given a ticket for driving the wrong way on a one-way street
