Memorial services for Roger Eugene Pettit will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mr. Pettit was born on Sept. 5, 1944 in Gallatin, the son of William and Edna Souders Pettit. He enjoyed playing computer games and woodworking as well as spending time with his family.
Roger is survived by his companion, Vera “Sam” Richardson of Sumner; daughters, Tammie Rinehart and her companion, Rodney Hunter of Foley and Karla Pettit-Constable and her husband, Terry of Cameron; sons, Brent Pettit and his companion, Cindy Fish of Cameron and Donnie Pettit and his wife, Patty of Springfield; grandson, A’ryan Rinehart of Foley; a sister, Connie Beier and her husband John of Trenton; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
