Galt City Council Meets

The Galt City Council held a brief meeting on Tuesday night.
City Clerk Mary Young said bills were paid and minutes were approved. No additional filings have been made for the April council election with Reggie Grindstaff the lone candidate for the two-year term in the north ward while Philip Shepard is the only candidate for the two-year term in the south ward. George Griff has filed for the one-year unexpired term in the south ward. No one has filed for mayor. Persons can file with Mrs. Young until Tuesday, Jan. 20.
The next council meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 10.
