Glen McCloud, an 81-year-old resident of Bolivar, died at 9:23 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014 at Citizen’s Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton. A visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until service time on Sunday.
Mr. McCloud was born on Jan. 25, 1933 in Gilman City, the son of Otto and Hortense Fears McCloud. He was married to Cora Sue Crawford on Sept. 16, 1951 in Trenton. Mr. McCloud farmed and later worked for the Missouri Department of Conservation for 33 years, from 1962-1995. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing as well as Mizzou football and basketball. He was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
Mr. McCloud is survived by his wife Cora Sue and their children, Rick McCloud and his wife, Sandra of Lee’s Summit, Nancy McCloud and Cheryl Powers of Windsor, Krista Wilson and her husband, Mike of Springfield, Tim McCloud and his wife, Sharon of Clinton and Sharon Engelbrecht and her husband, Jay Engelbrecht of Webb City; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and five siblings, Clara Bell McCloud Newkirk and Edward of Independence, Clarence McCloud and Patty of Corpus Christi, TX, Randall McCloud and Phyllis of Spickard, Robert McCloud and Sue of Independence and Mike McCloud and Lanette of Trinity, TX.
Mr. McCloud was preceded in death by his parents, and two siblings, Betty Jean McCloud and Vina Lee Spickard.
The family suggests contributions to Missouri Department of Conservation, Donations Coordinator, and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
