Candidate Files For Second Ward

Larry Porter of 1908 Bolser St. has filed for the second ward council position being vacated by Mark Robinson.
Porter is the only candidate to file for the two-year term in the second ward, subject to the April 7 election. Fourth ward councilman Jim Bush has filed for re-election to his post while Robinson is seeking the four-year term as mayor. Also with terms expiring are first ward councilman Mark Moore and third ward councilman Travis Elbert. Mayor Dr. Nick McHargue has also not filed for re-election.
