Members of the Busy Bees 4-H Club met on Nov. 21 at the Laredo Community Center with 10 members, four leaders and two guests present.
President Allena Allen called the meeting to order. Kaleb Bower led the Pledge of Allegiance and Morgan Foster led the 4-H pledge. Roll call was answered with each member telling what they are thankful for.
Members were presented with project pins and other awards received from Recognition Day. Thank you gifts were handed out to leaders. A sign-up was made available for bell ringing on Dec. 12 at ShopKo. Members were reminded to complete online enrollment and encouraged to attend the Regional Energizer in Hamilton on Jan. 24. It was also announced that 4-H Day with the Chiefs will take place on Dec. 28 with tickets available for $35.
For recreation, members made lap blankets to be delivered to local nursing homes. Refreshments were brought by Colton Roy.
The next meeting is scheduled for Jan. 16 at the Laredo Community Center.
