Trenton’s junior varsity basketball teams were in action on Monday night on the road at Unionville. The Lady Bulldogs won 38-16, establishing a 1-0 record on the season. Trenton’s JV boys fell to 2-1 on the season with a 37-27 loss.
In the girls game, Trenton was paced by 15 points from Ashten Whitaker. The Trenton boys were led by 13 points from Kade Ockenfels.
Trenton’s JV girls are scheduled to be back on the court on Monday, Dec. 15, playing host to Plattsburg while the JV boys are now off until Jan. 6, when they will host Mid-Buchanan. Both games tip off at 5 p.m. and precede varsity doubleheaders.
