A Jamesport youth was injured in an accident on Wednesday night on Route F in Jamesport.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Lonnie Yoder, 17, was taken by Daviess County Ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment of moderate injuries. The patrol said Yoder was walking eastbound on Route F when he was struck by an eastbound van driven by Christine Weston, 60, of Sanford, CO. After impact, Yoder was found laying on the south side of the road. The van received minor damage.
The accident was investigated by Trooper J.P. Lynch, assisted by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
