Scouting For Food

Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts as well as members of the Trenton High School Key Club will be hanging door tags this Saturday for their annual Scouting for Food campaign.
Scouts and parents that will help are asked to meet at the First Christian Church at 1 p.m. The food collection will be Saturday, Nov. 8, beginning at 9 a.m. All nonperishable food and toiletry items will be donated to the Grundy County Food Pantry.
Those donating items are asked to check for expiration dates and dents. Any date for less than one month cannot be used. Canned meats, vegetables, and soups as well as boxes of any helper (hamburger, tuna, chicken), cereals or crackers are useful. Paper products, cleaning supplies and personal toiletries are also accepted.
