Five Laredo R-7 students received the “Kids with Character” award for the month of October. They were chosen by their teacher for being responsible students. They include, from left, front row, fourth grader Emily Wilford, kindergartener Adalyn Bower; back row, second grader Kenzie Lynch, eighth grader Mayce Axtell and fifth grader Rebecca Urich. Each student received a Laredo Tigers Character Kid T-shirt donated by the Laredo ABC Club and Steve Howe Seed Sales in Wheeling.
