Rebecca “Becky” Taul, a 53-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014 at her home.
The body will be cremated under the direction of Slater Funeral Home at Trenton and memorial services will be held later.
Mrs. Taul was born on May 3, 1961 in Oxnard, CA, the daughter of Russell Gordon and Betti Sue Troeger Nelson. She graduated from Trenton High School in 1979. She worked for several area schools as a substitute teacher.
She was married to Ike Taul, who survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Megan Smith and husband, Todd and Johnna Slaughter; one son, Michael Slaughter; her parents, Russ and Betti Nelson; three brothers, Bud Nelson, Rusty Nelson and Ronnie Hinkle; and two grandchildren.
