Naomi Kay Spencer, a 61-year-old resident of Fulton, died on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Randy Dignan officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
A family visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Spencer was born Feb. 11, 1953 in Canton, SD, the daughter of the late Kenneth Albert and Florence Ekle Albert.
She was married on June 28, 1980 to Kevin Spencer of Trenton, who survives of the home. She was employed by the Missouri School for the Deaf, retiring after 28 years of service.
She enjoyed traveling in the mountains and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Florence Albert; sons, Jarvis (Brenda) Spencer of Fulton, and Jonathan (Cassandra) Spencer of Kingdom City; brothers, Gary Albert of Sioux Falls, SD, Jeff (Deb) Albert of Brandon, SD and Scott (Melissa) Albert of Sioux Falls, SD; sisters, Judy (Mick) Petersen of Manassas, VA and Kerri (Stan Spear) Paxton of Beresford, SD; grandchildren, Kynlea, Klerra, Kayden and Kierah Naomi; a sister-in-law, Cyndra (David) McDavid of Holts Summit; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Missouri School for the Deaf Welfare Fund, in care of Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.
