Fatal House Fire

The Trenton Fire Department was called to a house fire Sunday night at 602 Grundy St., where a person was found deceased inside. According to information provided by Trenton Police Chief Tommy Wright, the fire department was called at about 9:20 p.m. and when firefighters arrived, the house was fully involved. While extinguishing the blaze, the body, which has not yet been identified, was found. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Trenton Police Department, the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
