The Grundy Go Getters 4-H Club met on Monday, Oct. 14 at the Salem Baptist Church with 20 members and 14 volunteers present.
Kidridge Griffin opened the meeting with pledges and a roll call question of “Who do you want to win the World Series?”
New officers were given handouts with their roles and responsibilities to the club. Recognition Day is set for Nov. 2 at the First Christian Church at 2 p.m. An update on the new enrollment system was also discussed.
Abby Simpson gave a demonstration on making apple cider and Madi Moore gave a demonstration on making pumpkins and ghosts from apples, celery, bananas and chocolate chips.
The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the church.
