Don Robert Corbin of Fulton, a former Trenton resident, died on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014.
He was born on May 6, 1920 in Chillicothe and was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Wilma Rose Broschart in 2009. He served in the army during World War II and together with Wilma raised a beautiful family: two children, Beverly Murphy and her husband, Jerry of Fulton, Bob Corbin and his wife, Deyann of Springdale, AR; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Don was a longtime employee of Missouri Public Service in Trenton. In his spare time he built houses, re-built cars and restored and re-created old furniture. He and Wilma were active members of First Baptist Church of Trenton. Most importantly he loved the Lord so it’s a comfort to know he’ll be joining Wilma in paradise.
His ashes will be laid to rest beside Wilma’s at Martin Cemetery in Spickard. No open services planned.
