The Helping Hands 4-H Club met on Sept. 5 at the First Christian Church with Elle Neal calling the meeting to order.
Levi Johnson and Anna Hines led the pledges to the U.S. and 4-H flags. Roll call was answered with each person telling their favorite thing about school.
Mary Ellen Johnson gave the 4-H Council report and announced that Lisa Delameter was leaving her position as a youth specialist assistant. Patsy Griffin was thanked by members for school supplies. Report forms were turned in.
Officers for the new year are Wyatt Neal, president; Elle Neal, vice president; Latorrie Johnson, secretary; Tegan Kelsall, treasurer; Anna Hines, reporter; Gaven Kelsall, historian; and Levi Johnson, council representative. Song and game leaders will be assigned each month.
The 4-H Recognition Sunday activities will be held on Nov. 2.
The next club meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 22. The Johnson family will have the refreshments.
