The North Central Missouri College Board of Trustees met in special session on Wednesday, approving a grant application for the Green Hills Head Start Program.
On a vote of 5-0, with Steve Busch absent, the board approved the application for the 2015 fiscal year. NCMC oversees operations of the Head Start program, which serves a nine-county area. The budget is anticipated to be just over $2 million.
Also as part of the meeting, board members received their annual Head Start training as well as reviewed and discussed the Head Start five-year plan.
