Volleyballers Dealt Road Loss In Lexington

The Trenton High School volleyball team was handed a road loss Monday night as the Lady Bulldogs fell 25-21, 25-16 in Lexington.
Trenton was able to keep things close in the first game, but just couldn’t get the points to fall its way late in the set. The second game was all Lexington as the Minutewomen put the match away with a nine-point win.
Alex Ewald led Trenton with two aces, one kill, 11 assists and 16 digs. Lyric Nolan added six kills, two assists and three digs and Sarah Walker finished with two aces, five kills and five digs.
With the loss, Trenton fell to 4-10-3 on the season.
The Lady Bulldogs will return to the court tonight, traveling to St. Joseph to take on LeBlond. Action is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
