Although a little short on energy and the ability to run, Mrs. Chenoweth continues to enjoy good health and was all smiles on her special day.
Mrs. Chenoweth was married to the late Hadley Chenoweth in 1932 and they lived in Brookfield. They had two children, Robert Joseph and Freda June, before they relocated to Trenton in 1962.
Over the years, Mrs. Chenoweth worked in the Grundy County Courthouse as a case worker. She was very active in the local extension club, garden club and church activities. In her later years, she volunteered her time in the Wright Memorial Hospital Gift Shop and the Church Women United Thrift Shop.
Mrs. Chenoweth has been an elder at the First Christian Church of Trenton and was also chairman of the North Central Missouri Fair Flower Show in 1986.
Many family members were in attendance, including her son, Robert Chenoweth and his wife, Betty and their children, Bobby and Barry. Also attending were daughter June and her husband, Fred Kahn and their children, Michael Kahn and Christina Holt. Grandchildren attending were Brett, Kyle and Kolten Chenoweth, Jason Holt and Niles Kahn. Absent due to work and school conflicts were Betsy (Chenoweth), Ashley (Chenoweth), Eric Kahn and Ethan Holt. There were also many great-greatgrandchildren in attendance.
