“Kids with Character” at the Laredo R-7 School have been recognized for the character trait of “respect” for the month of September. They include, from left, front row, second grader Hannah Harris, kindergartener Lilly Stark, third grader, Aylin Velasquez Ortega; back row, seventh grader Tanner Williams and sixth grader Cooper Lewis. The students received a Laredo Tigers “Character Kid” t-shirt, donated by the Laredo ABC Club and Steve Howe Seed Sales of Wheeling.
