Ball Drop Fundraiser

Over 1,000 golf balls dropped from a hot air balloon at the Riverside Country Club on Saturday night as the country club and Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce teamed up for a ball-drop fundraiser. When it was all said and done, Derek Spencer of Trenton came away with the top prize, a 2007 Chevy Aveo donated by Barnes Baker. The second prize of a year membership at the RCC went to Sherry Hoer while Kathy Wright and Michelle Derry won the third- and fourth-place prizes of $50 worth of scratcher tickets.
